Lynn Ann Casey named Women in Technology’s Entrepreneur for 2010
June 18th, 2010 Arlington, VA - Arc Aspicio Chief Executive Officer Lynn Ann Casey was named Women in Technology's Entrepreneur for 2010 at the eleventh annual Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership Awards Gala. The 2010 Leadership Awards honor women who have excelled as mentors, leaders and role models in their professional endeavors and communities, and who embody the WIT mission.
"The awardees are true architects of change in the technology community and representative of WIT's new mantra: advancing technology one woman at a time," said Toni Townes-Whitely, president of WIT.
As CEO of Arc Aspicio, Casey has created a unique consulting environment that empowers talented consultants to leverage technology to solve homeland security’s most difficult challenges. Under her leadership, the company is building a homeland security community that stresses continuous learning for our employees, partners, and clients. Arc Aspicio circulates a widely-read homeland security newsletter, publishes thought leadership on mission trends, and fosters discussion on social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Govloop.
Earlier this year, Casey was recognized as one of Washington's 100 SmartCEOs by SmartCEO Magazine and as an Emerging Star by the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce. Arc Aspicio was also awarded a Department of Homeland Security's Small Business Achievement Award for 2010.
