Business Ethics
Ethical conduct by officers, employees, and consultants is essential to being a responsible and reputable government contractor. In turn, it fosters excellent client satisfaction and project success.
Our commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and fair dealing is at the core of our business practice. All company officers, employees, and consultants are expected to maintain high ethical standards and to comply fully with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. We provide multiple education opportunities in ethics and compliance each year and proactively address ethics and compliance issues when they arise, reporting them to the appropriate Government authorities when necessary.
In early 2008, we formalized our Corporate Ethics and Compliance Program to document the ethical standards we expect and to educate our people on ethics and compliance issues that may arise in their day-to-day work with the Government. The Program includes a Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, annual and ad hoc training, and an Ethics Hotline available 24 hours a day to report ethics and compliance issues.
Management and Ethical Business Practices
Our management team creates and maintains an ethical corporate environment. This team shapes our ethics policies and expectations and serves as examples of proper ethical behavior.
Employment Eligibility Verification
Since 2008, we have actively participated in the Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program to verify the employment eligibility of all employees to work in the United States. 100% of our employees have been verified through the program.
Code of Conduct
Our commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and fair dealing is at the core of our business practice.
Our people are expected to maintain high ethical standards and to comply fully with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. The Code of Conduct provides guidance to carry out this commitment in day-to-day business dealings. Every employee signs the Code of Conduct upon hiring and re-signs annually to ensure complete understanding and compliance with Arc Aspicio’s ethical principles.
Standards of Conduct and Professionalism – We expect all officers, employees, and consultants to maintain certain standards of professional behavior and conduct. In all dealings with the public and with each other, we expect our people to respect the dignity of each individual and to perform their duties with the highest degree of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and dedication to the best interests of the company. This includes sections on Anti-Harassment, Equal Opportunity, Confidentiality, Non-Competition, and Intellectual Property Rights.
Working with the Federal Government – Our business practice focuses on providing services to Federal Government agencies, Government prime contractors, or higher tier subcontractors whose services are ultimately provided to the Government. Working in the Government marketplace requires companies to abide by certain rules and regulations not generally applicable in the commercial realm. Specific areas include conflicts of interest, bribery and corruption, antitrust, confidentiality, time reporting, and compliance.
Duty to Report and Ethics Hotline – It is the duty of every employee and consultant to report any violation of the Code of Conduct or any Federal regulation. To safeguard the ability to report, Arc Aspicio provides various confidential methods of reporting ethical violations and asking questions. Retaliation or retribution for reporting an ethics violation is not tolerated and will result in disciplinary action.
Accountability for Diversity and Inclusion – We hold employees at all levels accountable for contributing to an inclusive culture through our Code of Conduct and supporting training that helps them practice this and raise concerns in a safe environment.
