Search Dog Teams Deployed to Haiti to Locate Survivors
Handlers and dogs trained by The Search Dog Foundation are now assisting with rescue operations in Haiti as part of two U.S. Task Forces charged with responding to international disasters. Seven teams are currently searching through collapsed buildings and saving lives. Over the weekend handler Bill Monahan and his Border-Collie, Hunter, found three young girls trapped in the rubble of a 4-story building. The girls were immediately given water while workers rushed to extricate them from the rubble.
Arc Aspicio is incredibly proud to continue to support The Search Dog Foundation teams as our nonprofit of choice.
