Small Business Administration Certifies Arc Aspicio as Women-Owned Small Business
Arlington, VA, January 25, 2021 — The Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Arc Aspicio as an SBA-Certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) in January 2021. The SBA recently revamped the program to strengthen their oversight and maintain the integrity of the certification process.
Arc Aspicio can bid as a certified WOSB on Federal opportunities based on the category of the work and size standard that the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) designates or a contract vehicle where the Government awarded the contract while Arc Aspicio was a small business at the time of award. For some opportunities, the Government may consider the company ‘other than small.’

An SBA-approved third-party certifier, the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce, completed a thorough review of Arc Aspicio to confirm that the company met all eligibility requirements for the certification. This led to the SBA rapid approval of the certification.
Arc Aspicio is a WOSB and prime contractor on GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) for 54151S, also called Schedule IT-70, and on the Human Capital and Training Solutions (HCaTS) Small Business Pool 2 best-in-class government-wide contract vehicle.
Arc Aspicio remains a certified WOSB for a period of three years provided that the company meets the eligibility requirements annually. The Federal Government's current goal is to award at least five percent of all Federal contracting dollars to WOSBs each year.
