Letting Employees Dive In
Arc Aspicio nurtures an environment where I can also play to the skills I like using on a day-to-day basis. Those that knew me in grad school always talked about how much I loved to serve as a teaching assistant. I’ve been able to continue that passion at Arc Aspicio by leading their case studies initiative. So many companies rely on case studies to train and educate their employees, but few do it the way Arc Aspicio does. The interaction and participation from all members of the company is incredible and I’ve truly enjoyed the chance to help facilitate our discussions to help my colleagues learn new skills.
More than anything else, what I’ve cherished most about Arc Aspicio are the people. That’s something you can’t really teach. I always tell my friends and family how excited I am to work with the people I do and learn from the managers and executives at our company. My colleagues at Arc Aspicio have certainly made me feel like I have a home away from home every time I’m at the office, and for that I’ll always be grateful.

What do you want to be when you grow up? The truth of the matter is, I’ve never wanted to answer that question. I’ve never been someone who felt tied to one particular activity or career path (and I have a disgruntled high school guidance counselor who can vouch for that). What I did know coming out of college were two things: I wanted to solve problems facing our country and I wanted to continue learning.
That’s why Federal government consulting and Arc Aspicio felt so natural to me. The ability to come into new projects, challenge myself to expand my skillset, and tackle new problems facing our country every day has been exciting. I knew I wanted to work for a company like Arc Aspicio from the start, one that was established, but still young enough to provide me with opportunities to shape their growth.
So far, I’ve been blessed with the chance to lead at a young age, having been able to be a mentor, a supervisor, and even the lead on several company strategy initiatives. There have certainly been lessons learned and challenges along the way, but it’s rare for a company to let their employees dive in the way Arc Aspicio does. I’ll always appreciate the environment here that lets even the most junior of associates step up and challenge themselves to achieve great things.
