GovCon Selects Arc Aspicio as Finalist for Contractor of the Year
Arlington, Virginia, September 15, 2014 — The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council named Arc Aspicio as a finalist for Contractor of the Year.
This award, part of the 12th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor (GovCon) Awards, is highly competitive. In the category of Contractor of the Year (less than $25 million), the awards honor innovative and trailblazing companies in the government contracting industry. Finalists have shown a commitment to excellence in their role of promoting collaboration between the public and private sector.
To qualify for the award, Arc Aspicio had to demonstrate outstanding growth over the past three years. In 2013 alone, the company grew 57%.
“We’re incredibly honored to be recognized along with other outstanding trailblazers,” said Lynn Ann Casey, Chief Executive Officer. “This award is particularly meaningful for our dedicated and talented employees, who have shown an unwavering commitment to our homeland security clients, even in the face of budget challenges, sequestrations, and a shutdown.”
Casey noted that the company’s innovative strategies and laser focus on the mission of its clients have prepared the company to stand out even in the face of a slowing government consulting market. The company continues to expand in the areas of mission-critical consulting, information sharing, data analytics, combating human trafficking, cybersecurity, and strategic program management.
The winners from the group of finalists will be announced at a November 13th gala dinner at the Ritz Carlton in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia.
